"We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak"
2 Corinthians 4:13

Serving is a great way to grow spiritually, create lasting friendships and use your God-given talents and desires for the work of the ministry. It’s about getting involved in something that’s bigger than you. We were created to live beyond ourselves, just as Jesus did. As we serve, we become more like Jesus and are shaped into the people we’re called to be. Service is significant whether it’s in the nursery or as an usher – what counts is the heart behind it.

Serving on a team can be one of the most rewarding things in church life.

Jesus said it very clearly, “Whoever wants to be the greatest among you, must be the greatest servant.”

“As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.” 1 Peter 4:10

“Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them…” Romans 12:6
